Privacy Policy

WasteLvl stores the records you create on your device. We do not run a server, and your records are never sent to us.

How a copy of your records may leave the device depends on the platform. In both cases the copy is held in your own Apple or Google account, is processed by that company's infrastructure, and is not used by us for analytics, advertising, or tracking.

iOS

If you are signed in to iCloud, your records are synced and backed up through Apple's iCloud, so that they are available on your other devices and can be restored.

Android

There is no sync between devices. If you have Android Backup switched on, the operating system copies the app's data to your Google Drive backup, from which it can be restored when you reinstall the app or set up a new device.

The amounts, titles, dates, and LEVEL you see in the app never leave your device except through the backup described above, or through a JSON file that you choose to export yourself.

Advertising

WasteLvl shows a banner advertisement supplied by Google AdMob. To deliver and measure those ads, the Google Mobile Ads SDK collects device and usage information such as a device identifier, coarse location derived from your IP address, and interactions with the ad.

We request non-personalized ads only. The app does not ask for permission to track you across other apps and websites, and it does not use the advertising identifier for that purpose.

Consent in the EEA and the UK

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, WasteLvl asks for your consent before any advertisement is loaded. The form is provided by Google's User Messaging Platform, a Google-certified consent management platform. No ad is requested until you have answered. Outside these regions the form is not shown.

The legal basis for storing and accessing information on your device for advertising is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). The advertising partners covered by it are listed in the form itself and in Google's list of ad technology providers.

You can change your answer at any time in the app: Settings → Privacy → Ad consent. This row appears only where consent is required.

What we do not do

• We do not collect your records or any part of them
• We do not use third-party analytics
• We do not ask you to create an account
• We do not track you across other apps or websites

Apart from the advertisement and the backup described above, the app works offline.

Your data and your rights

Your records never reach us, so we cannot read, export, or delete them for you. Everything is in your own hands, inside the app:

• Get a copy — Settings → Data → Export writes a JSON file you can keep or move anywhere
• Delete — remove records one by one in the app, or delete the app to erase everything stored on the device. A copy kept in a backup is removed through your Apple account settings on iOS, or your Google account backup settings on Android
• Withdraw consent for advertising — Settings → Privacy → Ad consent

Children

WasteLvl is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16 in the EEA and the UK, or under 13 elsewhere.
