Is copipi free?
Yes. All features are free, and there are no ads. You can save up to 20 entries. copipi Pro removes this limit.
Can I manage message templates and text snippets?
Yes. Save message templates, addresses, social media replies, hashtags, and any text you use again and again. Placeholders let you fill in the parts that change when you copy. A date placeholder adds today's date in the format you choose.
Isn't the built-in keyboard dictionary enough?
With copipi, you choose saved text from a list without memorizing shortcuts. Save long text and templates with line breaks, and organize them into folders.
How do I set up the keyboard extension?
On iPhone and iPad, add the copipi keyboard in the Settings app. On Android, turn copipi on under Languages and input, then tap the keyboard-switch button while you are typing and choose copipi. The exact steps can differ by OS version, so please check on your device.
Is my data safe? What about privacy?
Yes. Apple is the only outside service the iOS version uses, and Google is the only one the Android version uses. Both use their own store to check your subscription status; on iOS that also covers iCloud sync, and on Android the system backup. copipi sends nothing anywhere else. It collects no data and does not track you. The App Store privacy label says: "Data Not Collected — The developer does not collect any data from this app."
What devices does copipi support?
copipi works on iPhone, iPad, and Android phones and tablets. On a Mac with Apple Silicon (M1 or later), you can download the iPhone app and run it. On iOS, turn on iCloud sync to keep your data the same across your Apple devices. The Android version has no sync, but you can move your data with export and import — the file format is the same on both platforms, so you can also move between iPhone and Android.

copipi is available in 48 languages. It follows the language set on your device.

Can copipi automatically save my copy history?
Neither iOS nor Android lets an app watch the clipboard in the background, so copipi cannot save your copy history for you. To save text, add it in copipi. You can also send it from the Share menu of another app.
